Pi Dental Center is pleased to announce that Dr. Glenn Wolfinger has been voted Main Line Today Top Dentist as a prosthodontist for 2019! Wolfinger is the owner of Pi Dental Center and a board-certified prosthodontist.

Recipients of this award are nominated by their peers for their advanced skill, experience and leadership in the dental community. This is the second year in a row that Dr. Wolfinger has been awarded this distinction.

Prosthodontists are called, “the architects of the smile.” These ADA recognized dental specialists have advanced training in cosmetic dentistry, dental implants, dentures, crowns, bridges, TMJ therapy, facial prosthetics and total mouth rehabilitation.

Dr. Wolfinger grew up in North East Philadelphia, where he attended LaSalle College High School then Villanova University. He attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and specialized in prosthodontics at Harvard University School of Dental Medicine. In 1993, Wolfinger became a Diplomate (board certified) of the American Board of Prosthodontics.

Dr. Wolfinger joined Pi Dental Center in 1963. He was a clinical professor at Temple University and Director of Prosthodontics and Implant Dentistry at the Department of Veteran’s Affairs.

Dr. Wolfinger has received numerous awards and honors. He’s been a Philly Magazine as well as Main Line Today Top Dentist, a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, Academy of Osseointegration, and the American College of Prosthodontists.

Dr. Wolfinger and his colleagues at Pi Dental Center conduct ongoing research for dental implants, dental products, and dental treatment for patients with medical diagnoses such as diabetes and osteoporosis. Dr. Wolfinger is particularly interested in dental treatment using the Teeth in A Day® protocol and treatment of patients who have very little bone.

Dr. Wolfinger was asked why he believes he was chosen for this award. He said, “I was voted by my peers, who refer their complex patient treatments to me. It is a true honor to be voted by my peers, those who understand the quality of services my office delivers.”

 Dr. Wolfinger continues, “It is a great feeling when you can make a big difference in the life of a patient. Many of the procedures we do improve the quality of patients’ lives.”
