The Conversion Prosthesis is key component of the Teeth in a Day® protocol. This prosthesis is an interim fixed-prosthesis that the patient wears from the time of dental implant placement until the final prosthesis is delivered. It is made from the patient’s removable denture or a temporary prosthesis. During the implant placement procedure, this removable prosthesis is modified into a fixed prosthesis. It allows the patient to experience the benefits of dental implants immediately after the implants are uncovered. This prosthesis is an essential component of the Teeth In A Day® procedure. This restoration provides stability to the dental implants by distributing the load of the prosthesis and protects the suture sites. It also serves as a prototype for the final prosthesis and reduces treatment visits.
