An Academic and Research Organization
The Institute aims to promote the concept of multidisciplinary patient care, emphasizing the importance of medical and dental specialties, such as Prosthodontics, Orthodontics, Periodontics, and Maxillofacial Surgery, and also Plastic Surgery, Otolaryngology, Radiology and many more specialties dedicated to Oral and Facial Esthetics.
Extensive clinical research is ongoing at the Institute in conjunction with Pi Dental Center, focusing on new applications for dental implants and the “permanent” replacement of missing teeth.
The Institute for Facial Esthetics offers training programs in dental implant treatment for both basic and advanced procedures. The protocols are scientifically based techniques including Teeth In A Day®, All-On-4® Treatment Concept, as well as the No Bone Solution™ with placement of implants in the pterygomaxillary and zygoma regions. Clinicians from across the globe have benefited from training with efficient and minimally invasive protocols employed at the Institute. Courses conducted teach both surgical and restorative aspects of osseointegrated dental implant procedures. The Institute for Facial Esthetics is located just minutes from Philadelphia in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania.
Prosthodontic Insights, a newsletter is a digest of trends, techniques, and clinical concepts of dental and facial esthetics. The newsletter summarizes significant research studies in the area of prosthodontic, implant dentistry, and dental hygiene. Each issue profiles a significant clinical treatment experience for patients who have undergone prosthodontic rehabilitation.
